Paradies Lagardère Observes Remembrance Day In Canada

Paradies Lagardère is using a new philanthropic initiative in Canadian airports to honor veterans on Remembrance Day.

The company will donate a percentage of sales on Thursday, Nov. 10 through Friday, Nov. 11, to the Royal Canadian Legion’s Poppy Trust Fund. The fund gives financial assistance and support to Canadian veterans and their families. The support comes in the form of money for food and heating costs, clothing, prescription medication, medical appliances and equipment, home repairs and emergency shelter.

“Paradies Lagardère is committed to providing support to military personnel in both the U.S. and Canada,” says Gregg Paradies, president and CEO of Paradies Lagardère. “The Remembrance Day initiative in our Canadian airports, and our ongoing Treat Our Troops and Feed Our Troops programs in our U.S. airports are just small tokens of appreciation for the service and sacrifice those in the military make.”
