Corporate Merchandise Planner
HMSHost is seeking an experienced Merchandise Planner with strong credentials to ensure the proper quantities of merchandise are purchased in an appropriate and cost effective manner for our motorway retail locations in US & Canada.
Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Merchandise Planning, the Corporate Merchandise Planner will be responsible for maximizing sales, partnering with respective buyers, monitoring inventory performance, projecting and forecasting, distribution, and vendor control. This is a unique opportunity for a merchandise planning expert looking for a dynamic environment where he or she can be a creative force and high-impact leader responsible for a merchandise buying power of $15 million.
Required Credentials:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
•3-6 years Merchandise Planning experience including sales, receipts, turnovers, markup and margin
•Familiarity with replenishment systems – preferably SAP
