SBP Welcomes New Concessionaire

First Class Concessions has been awarded a contract to operate a food, beverage and retail business in the new terminal at San Luis Obispo Regional (SBP), marking the first time the airport will have full concessions post security.

Under the new agreement, First Class Concessions will operate the sole post-security concessions facility in the terminal. The company will have approximately 1,000 square feet to provide food, beverage, and various customer service retail items.

In addition, First Class Concessions agreed to a capital investment of $120,000 to build out the space. The agreement provides for an initial term of 7 years, with an option to extend for one additional consecutive three-year period.

“We’re excited to welcome First Class Concessions to our airport,” said Kevin Bumen, director of airports. “The company has a strong reputation for high-quality, friendly service and we look forward to bringing their provisions to the San Luis Obispo Airport.”

First Class Concessions offers airports caters exclusively to airports and currently has operations at Phoenix-Sky Harbor International (PHX), Santa Barbara (SBA), St. Petersburg-Clearwater International (PIE), San Diego International (SAN) and several others.
