The Louisville Regional Airport Authority has selected Dan Mann to become executive director of LRAA beginning in March 2018. He will be replacing C.T. Miller, who is retiring. Miller has held the position since 2003.
Mann, who is currently executive director of Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE), has more than 25 years of experience in airport management and air service development. Under Mann’s direction CAE experienced five consecutive years of passenger growth. He also led CAE through a $58 million capital improvement program, which included sustainability initiatives such as the development of a five-acre solar farm on the airport’s campus. Mann also implemented a comprehensive Disadvantaged Business Enterprise outreach initiative at CAE, which received national recognition.
Before he was executive director of CAE, Mann served as executive director of Eastern Iowa Airport (CID). Mann is a graduate of Bowling Green State University. He is also a licensed pilot and a veteran of the United States Air Force.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to help lead and grow air service in a region anchored by such an exceptional city as Louisville,” says Mann. “I am committed to working with the board and staff of the LRAA, as well as the entire community, to make Louisville International Airport and Bowman Field the finest in the nation.”
