Amy Shaw has been named manager of commercial and business development for the Clark County Department of Aviation, which oversees McCarran International Airport (LAS) and five general aviation airports.
In her new position Shaw will plan, organize and administer business activities that include real estate deals, lease agreements, property management and land development. She will negotiate contracts for retail space, food and beverage, advertising, ground transportation and rentals cars. Shaw will also be responsible for administering the DOA’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program as well as general aviation leases and support agreements.
Shaw brings more than 20 years of experience in airport concession management and development into this role. Before becoming manager of commercial and business development, Shaw worked for the Clark County Department of Aviation as airport program administrator and the manager of the concessions and small business program since 2016. She was also the airport DBE/ACDBE liaison. Before coming to the Clark County Department of Aviation, Shaw was deputy executive director/manager of concessions development for Los Angeles World Airports from 2008 to 2010.
