InterVISTAS Consulting Group has appointed Solomon Wong as president and CEO. Wong, who was already serving as executive vice president, began his new position on May 1. He will also serve in a newly-created position as director, advisory group for aviation strategy consultancy in the aviation business unit of InterVISTAS’ parent company, Royal HaskoningDHV.
Wong has more than 20 years of experience in the industry, specializing in transportation and airport projects around the world. He began his career at InterVISTAS in 1997. Throughout his time with the organization, he has worked to improve efficiency, customer service and cost savings for airports and other transportation clients.
Wong replaced InterVISTAS former president and CEO Deborah Meehan, who retired at the end of April.
Wong has held positions on the Canadian/American Border Trade Alliance and Airports Consultants Council, and he currently sits on Airports Council International committees.
