Job Description
Miami-Dade County’s Aviation Department is seeking a Senior Aviation Property Manager. This is an advanced specialized property management position for the Miami-Dade County Aviation Department (MDAD). Employees in this class are responsible for performing a variety of property management duties to include concession contracts, retail leases, and negotiation of agreements and inspection of airport properties. Emphasis of the work is on negotiating and preparing a variety of concession agreements and leases, maintaining favorable tenant relations, inspecting leased airport properties for compliance with terms and conditions, and conducting research pertaining to utilization of airport properties.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree. Three years of experience in the management of concession contracts or retail leases to include experience in contract management and lease development are required. Applicants qualifying for employment with the Miami-Dade Aviation Department will be subject to an extensive security screening, including but not limited to fingerprint checks; employment verification and such other procedures as may be mandated by federal law. The security clearance required by federal law is a continuing condition of employment.
Experience working at an airport or other high-volume multi-retail environment is preferred.
