MAG USA Opens First of Two Premium Lounges at ONT

Looking to provide all passengers with the option of premium amenities, Ontario International (ONT) this week opened the first of two Escape Lounges, featuring plush seating, high-speed Wi-Fi and hot and cold food and beverage options.

MAG USA is designing, building and operating the common-use Escape Lounge in Terminal 2 under a 10-year agreement approved by the Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA). Like a second Escape Lounge set to open in Terminal 4 later this year, the new Escape Lounge is 2,800 sq. ft. and features dining options from local Chef Henry Gonzalez.

“We’re pleased to welcome Escape Lounges and MAG USA to Ontario,” says OIAA CEO Mark Thorpe. “Their arrival adds to the excitement and momentum that has been building at ONT in recent months and reflects our commitment to provide our customers with the best amenities possible.”

Escape Lounges are part of the American Express Global Lounge Collections. American Express Platinum Card holders receive complimentary access, as do two of their guests.

The fee for others looking for entry will be $45, though discounts are available online at EscapeLounges.com.

Escape Lounges are also in Minneapolis-St. Paul International, Oakland International, Reno-Tahoe International, Bradley International (Hartford, CT) and Greenville-Spartanburg International, with more planned at other airports later this year.
