PHL Expands Food & Beverage, Retail Offerings

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) announces seven new concessions as it looks to boost the experience for travelers through the airport.

Among the retailers are Coach, Vera Bradley – which specialize in bags, fragrance and luggage – Heritage Books, InMotion Entertainment, and PHL Sports, featuring jersey and other items from the Philadelphia are professional sports teams.

The new food & beverage options include Yards Brewery Company – from one of the city’s local breweries – and a fourth airport location for specialty coffee maker LaColombe.

MarketPlace PHL, the private partner with the City of Philadelphia in the management of the food and retail programs throughout PHL, says the new additions bring the total number of shops to more than 170.

“These new merchants give our passengers even more options when it comes to shopping and dining, and there’s still more to come in 2019,” says MarketPlace PHL VP/General Manager Mel Hannah. “We are proud of the diverse options we’re able to provide the 30 million passengers who pass through our airport each year.”
