HMSHost and partners AJA & Associates and Ellis Infinity have opened the first airport location of well-known local Italian food destination, Cantoro Italian Market, at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County (DTW).
Located in the airport’s North Terminal pre-security baggage claim area, Cantoro Italian Market Trattoria features the freshly-made, high quality Italian food Detroit-area residents have come to enjoy in their neighborhoods.
“Not only does Cantoro bring a sense of Detroit into the airport, it brings the best of a long-standing Italian corner store and family restaurant with a modern twist for people to enjoy in the airport’s pre-security area,” says HMSHost VP of business development Kent Vanden Oever.
Cantoro’s airport menu features a range of pizzas, pastas, salads, soups, sandwiches and wraps. Travelers can also pick up genuine Cantoro sauce by the pint, including marinara, palomino and alfredo, a box of pasta or bottle of olive oil, and other food items on the way out of the airport for dinner later or as a gift.
