ALD Brings New Lounge to JAX

Shared-use lounge provider Airport Lounge Development (ALD) today debuted The Club Jax at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), one of many the company has or will open this year.

“We are excited to expand our global lounge offerings in Florida beyond our two locations at Orlando International Airport,” said Nancy Knipp, senior vice president of ALD. “The Club JAX will provide Jacksonville travelers a premium lounge experience, regardless of their airline or class of ticket.”

The Club JAX location is ALD’s 16th in the U.S. The new lounge is located in the Main Concourse across from security. At 3,000 square feet, the space can accommodate up to 52 guests at a time.

Amenities offered by The Club Jax are spread out among six different zones; there’s the Relax Zone, which offers comfortable seating and reading lamps; the Productivity Zone boasts both public and private workspaces and a host of free-to-use devices such as computers and printers; children can watch TV and play games in the Kids Zone; guests can have a bite or a drink in the Replenish Zone, which offers seasonal buffets and signature Jacksonville-inspired cocktails; the Resting Zone offers quiet and comfort for those who need respite from the hustle and bustle of traveling; and finally, the Refresh Zone offers private restrooms and a spa-inspired shower.
