Airport Lounge Development Rebrands to Airport Dimensions

Plano, TX-based Airport Lounge Development (ALD), the global developer and operator of airport lounges including The Club and Club Aspire brands, today announces it is rebranding to become Airport Dimensions.

The new Airport Dimensions brand reflects the broader range of innovative, premium experiences the company is rolling out beyond its well-loved lounge offering.

“We have ambitious plans to continue exploring new partnerships in travel experiences to provide business and leisure travelers with even more choice,” says Steve Pinches, CEO of Airport Dimensions, a Collinson company, “This will include introducing even more services beyond the traditional lounge setting, from new rest areas, to gaming spaces and dedicated virtual reality zones. Not only will these changes benefit the guests coming through our doors, but our airport and airline partners too.”

Since 2016, Airport Dimensions has seen a 278 percent increase in guest volumes, as well as 80 percent growth in its lounge locations. Building on the knowledge, experience and partnerships the company has established since launching in 2006, Airport Dimensions is aggressively expanding its global footprint, including seeking new partnerships and investing in new propositions both inside and outside the lounge.

Among the new amenities will be concepts such as sleep pods and cabins, as well as workspaces. In the coming months, Airport Dimensions will be launching two new lounges in the US: The Club Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) will capture the cultural and historic character of the region with a unique mural of the Niagara Falls, and The Club MSY at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).

These two openings will follow those launched in Jacksonville, Charleston and Las Vegas earlier this year.

“We’re really excited to be launching our rebrand here, in Tampa, at the ACI-NA conference,” said Chris Gwilliam, vice president of business development for Airport Dimensions, while attending the 2019 Airports Council International-North America Annual Conference and Exhibition. “It’s the perfect opportunity to really talk to our partners and customers, and to help educate them on the transition and the strategy behind it. We’re really excited about what the future holds and the value it could bring to airports.”
