REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS DENVER’S DEPARTMENT OF AVIATION FOR SMALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE CONCESSIONS

The City and County of Denver, through its Department of Aviation (City or DEN) seeks competitive proposals for the following concessions concepts to be operated at the Denver International Airport:

RFP 1-08 A Center West Coffee Kiosk 201952058: The location for this procurement is approximately 405 square feet on the concourse level and is located in the Concourse A Center Core just west of the escalators on the west side of the Center Core. This location is intended for the development of a specialty coffee concept with a national, regional, or local brand capable of serving a high volume of passengers.

RFP 1-11 B Center East Coffee Kiosk 201952059: The location for this procurement is approximately 404 square feet on the concourse level and is located in the Concourse B Center Core just east of the escalators on the east side of the Center Core.  This location is intended for the development of a specialty coffee concept with a national, regional, or local brand capable of serving a high volume of passengers.

RFP 1-16 B Center West Snack Kiosk 201952064:The location for this procurement is approximately 405 square feet on the concourse level and is located in the Concourse B Center Core just west of the escalators on the west side of the Center Core. This location is intended for the development of a snack concept serving a high volume of passengers. The concept will feature fresh snacks intended to be carried away from the premises for consumption elsewhere. Drinks including bottled juice, water, and drip coffee and tea are acceptable but should not be the lead offering. Smoothies and gourmet coffee/tea drinks such as freshly prepared espresso, cappuccino, etc. are not permitted.

RFP 1-21 C Center West Juice Kiosk 201952066 :The location for this procurement is approximately 404 square feet on the concourse level and is located in the Concourse C Center Core just west of the escalators on the west side of the Center Core. This location is intended for the development of a juice concept serving a high volume of passengers. The concept will feature fresh juices, smoothies, or other fruit- or vegetable-based beverages intended to be carried away from the premises. Other drinks including bottled water, and drip coffee and tea are allowed but not required. Fresh and packaged snack items are acceptable but should not be the lead offering. Gourmet coffee/tea drinks such as freshly prepared espresso, cappuccino, etc. are not permitted.

Documents Available: Request for Proposals (RFP) documents will be available on the DEN Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/proprfp.asp available on October 24, 2019.

Proposals Due: All proposals must be sealed and identified as to content and be received by the DEN Contract Procurement no later than 2:00 PM, Denver Time, January 22, 2020. Proposals received after this time will be rejected by DEN and returned to the proposer unopened.

Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference: A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 1:00 PM, Denver Time, November 21, 2019, in the City Conference Room, located in DEN’s Jeppesen Terminal, Level 6, west inner core. Multiple opportunities will be discussed at this same pre-proposal conference, a list of opportunities will be listed on Survey Monkey at the below link. Attendance at this meeting will qualify your firm for all RFPs discussed during the meeting. Failure to attend will disqualify proposers from submitting a proposal in response to this RFP.

Attendees representing multiple companies must register under each company they are representing and sign-in to be eligible.
