REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS CITY AND COUNTY OF DENVER’S DEPARTMENT OF AVIATION CONCESSIONS PROGRAM

The City and County of Denver, through its Department of Aviation (City or DEN) seeks competitive proposals for the following concessions concepts to be operated at the Denver International Airport:

RFP 1-13 B Center NW Specialty Retail 2 RFP 201952061: The location for this procurement is approximately 2,053 square feet on the concourse level and is located in the Concourse B Center Core in the Northwest quadrant. This location is intended for the development of a specialty retail store featuring beauty and personal care products to include but not be limited to skincare, makeup, fragrance, accessories, and hair products. Merchandise should come from a variety of well-known brands that are global, national, regional, and/or local.

RFP 1-14 B Center NW Specialty Retail 3 RFP 201952062: The location for this procurement is approximately 1,456 square feet on the concourse level and is located in the Concourse B Center Core in the Northwest quadrant. This location is intended for the development of a specialty retail store featuring souvenirs and gifts. Concessionaire is encouraged to propose unique merchandise that reflects a Colorado sense of place. Food and beverage products are permitted so long as they are packaged to serve as gifts or souvenirs and are not intended to be consumed on site.

RFP 1-15 B Center SE Specialty Retail RFP 201952063: The location for this procurement is approximately 1,350 square feet on the concourse level and is located in the Concourse B Center Core in the Southeast quadrant of Center Core. This location is intended for the development of a specialty retail store featuring footwear and shoes. Merchandise should include a variety of footwear and shoes for men, women, and children, and can feature a single brand or a variety of global, national, regional, and/or local brands.

RFP 1-20 C Center SE Specialty Retail RFP 201952065: The location for this procurement is approximately 1,218 square feet on the concourse level and is located in the Concourse C Center Core in the Southeast quadrant. This location is intended for the development of a specialty retail store featuring souvenirs and gifts. Concessionaire is encouraged to propose unique merchandise that reflects a Colorado sense of place. Food and beverage products are permitted so long as they are packaged to serve as gifts or souvenirs and are not intended to be consumed on site. Proposers may propose selling packaged alcoholic products for off-site consumption as part of their product offering, subject to obtaining all necessary licenses.

Documents Available: Request for Proposals (RFP) documents will be available on the DEN Contract Procurement website at http://business.flydenver.com/bizops/proprfp.asp available on October 24, 2019.

Proposals Due: All proposals must be sealed and identified as to content and be received by the DEN Contract Procurement no later than 2:00 PM, Denver Time, January 22, 2020. Proposals received after this time will be rejected by DEN and returned to the proposer unopened.

Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference: A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 2:00 PM, Denver Time, November 20, 2019, in the City Conference Room, located in DEN’s Jeppesen Terminal, Level 6, west inner core. Multiple opportunities will be discussed at this same pre-proposal conference, a list of opportunities will be listed on Survey Monkey at the below link. Attendance at this meeting will qualify your firm for all RFPs discussed during the meeting. Failure to attend will disqualify proposers from submitting a proposal in response to this RFP.

ACDBE/MWBE Requirements: The Commerce Hub has established a 25% ACDBE goal and The Division of Small Business Opportunity (DSBO) has established a 25% MWBE goal type participation.
