BOS Introduces Passenger Text Alerts

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) this month begins providing passengers with text alerts for disruptive construction and traffic delays to reduce their stress when going to and from the airport.

BOS passengers can text “SIGNUP” to 30256 from their phone to begin receiving text alerts from the airport on roadway changes, detours and major delays. Passengers can also choose to get the same alerts via email by signing up at www.Loganforward.com.

The new text service from Massport, operators of BOS, comes as part of the airport’s Logan Forward initiative to keep the public informed during capital projects, roadway improvement and other infrastructure investments at the airport. In addition, Massport has trained airport staff, and continues to use radio, print and digital advertising to keep passengers informed as it strives to create a faster, more enjoyable and smoother travel experience.
