Innovative Vending Solutions (IVS), operator of Relax & Recharge commercial massage chairs, has acquired the intellectual property portfolio and assets of Salt Lake City-based Ozio, makers of commercial massage chairs.
IVS also announced plans to add compelling, multi-media content to the massage chair customer, including those in airports.
“IVS has developed a Multimedia Kiosk that totally changes the consumers experience while enjoying their massage,” said Gregory Ruggiero, CEO of IVS, in announcing the acquisition. “Our next generation Commercial Massage Chairs are capable of interacting with customers, providing them with a plethora of offers and deals in real time, making their massage experience more interactive and rewarding.”
The Multimedia Kiosk from Clayton, NJ-headquartered IVS will offer compelling digital content, including advertising, real time coupons, games, movie trailers, airport flight information and public safety alerts.
IVS is in 35 airport locations and more than 650 mall properties with its Relax & Recharge brand, Zoomaroo, a line of luxury vehicle mall and stroller rides for children, and iZen, an omnichannel provider of wellness and massage products for the home.
