MCO Installs PPE Vending Machines

Orlando International Airport (MCO) has installed new vending machines to provide the traveling public with easy access to a variety of face masks, hand sanitizers and other personal protective equipment.

The machines and their inventory help the airport comply with an Orange County order requiring everyone in a public space, including in the terminal, to wear a face covering that meets current guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Along with the new vending machines, a number of retailers at MCO have also made PPE supplies available to travelers for purchase.

“It is our top priority to make travelers and employees feel safe within our world-class airport,” said Phil Brown, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, operators of MCO. “To do that, we want to ensure everyone can easily obtain personal safety essentials needed to travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
