CMH Travelers Can Now Drink Before Boarding

John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) said this week that airport passengers can now purchase single servings of alcohol to-go from restaurants in post-security areas.

The new amenity is thanks to a recent provision to Ohio law, and beer, wine or cocktails can be purchased to-go at Chili’s Too, Eddie George’s Grille 27, Wolfgang Puck Gourmet Express, Donatos and the PGA TOUR Grill.

CMH said soon to open restaurants Vino Volo and a second Donatos will also be able to provide drinks to go after their launch.

Beverage sales are limited to one per person, and all must be present a valid ID. Beverages may be consumed in all waiting areas beyond the security checkpoint, but passengers must finish or dispose of beverages before boarding their flight.
