CLEAR Event Reunites Families After Pandemic

CLEAR said this week that it has partnered with United Airlines and Marriott Bonvoy on an event to reunite more than 100 family members and friends who have spent the past year apart due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The “A Day of Families” event MetLife Stadium in New Jersey was hosted by actor Neil Patrick Harris and featured Broadway musical performances by Mandy Gonzalez, Kerry Butler and Seth Rudetsky.

All attendees used CLEAR’s Health Pass to securely link to their negative COVID-19 test results and the company said that soon its Health Pass will be able to link to vaccination records to help people come back together, restart industries, get people back to what they know and love.

Among those in the event were 34 fully vaccinated seniors living across South Florida who were flown on a United Airlines private charter from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). The family members stayed at the Renaissance New York Chelsea, one of Marriott Bonvoy’s hotels, free of charge.

“CLEAR’s mission has always been to make people’s lives safer, easier and better,” said Caryn Seidman-Becker, CLEAR CEO. “With Health Pass and our partners, we were able to make a truly amazing moment happen for so many families, and we are thrilled to continue helping others reunite and get back to what they know and love.”
