Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) said this week that Servy and its Grab airport marketplace technology will be driving the new SLCtoGo mobile food ordering service at the airport.
The new service, launched in partnership with Emerging Domestic Market Ventures (EDMV), lets travelers order via a streamlined touchless mobile ordering website or scanning a QR code. They then have the option of picking up their order at the restaurant or having it delivered to their gate by a human or gita delivery robot.
SLC said currently five restaurants will be participating in the initial SLCtoGo launch, with additional food and beverage concessionaires expected to be added as the program expands.
