ECG Ventures has opened The Canadian Brewhouse at Edmonton International Airport (YEG), 18 months after the famed Canadian restaurant and bar chain deal with the airport was announced and nearly nine months later than its original opening date of fall 2020.
The 4,000 square-foot location is located directly next to Central Security of the terminal. Its original design was set to feature the iconic Canadian-themed décor that The Canadian Brewhouse brand is famous for, along with an array of food and beverage options.
“We’re always looking to bring new options to our passengers,” says Myron Keehn, YEG vice president of air service and commercial development, said back in 2020 when announcing the new concession. “This partnership with local brands The Canadian Brewhouse and ECG Ventures will be a great addition to our concession offerings both pre- and post-security.”
