PHL Food & Shops, the concessions program at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), announced this week it is bringing the SkySquad concierge service to the airport to provide an array for services for travelers needing a bit of extra assistance.
PHL is the sixth airport in the U.S. to offer SkySquad, which provides travelers with a dedicated on-site assistant at the airport and is focused on providing an extra set of hands when they are needed the most,
SkySquad can help passengers get from the car to ticketing, security and/or gate; assistance with childcare and luggage; and even keeping an eye on your luggage while you grab a snack or use the restroom. These services start at $49.
SkySquad has also partnered with AtYourGate, the leading in-airport food and retail delivery service at PHL, which will also provide SkySquad customers with the ability to get what they need delivered to their gate.
“We’re excited to bring SkySquad to Philadelphia,” said Mel Hannah, vice president and general manager of MarketPlace PHL, operator of the concessions program at the airport. “We’re always looking for ways to improve travelers’ experiences, and SkySquad’s offerings will do just that.”
