The Clark County Department of Aviation, which oversees Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), this week named Rishma Khimji as chief information technology officer, where she will plan, organize and administer the comprehensive IT operations at the airport.
Khimji has more than 13 years of director-level and supervisory experience in a variety of technology application products and suites, most recently as the chief information officer for the San Francisco Police Department. Previously, she was director of Technology for the City of Reno, Nevada and also worked for the Albuquerque Police Department as director of APD Technical Services Unit.
“I am excited to join the LAS executive team as their first chief information technology officer, especially since LAS is the premier gateway into the most exciting sports, entertainment, and technology destination for travelers worldwide,” said Khimji. “I get to pair my experience in technology and business development to structure digital transformation at the airport.”
Khimji was placed in her new role following a search conducted by Jacksonville, FL-based ADK Consulting & Executive Search.
