Airports Council International – North America (ACI-NA) this week announced the first group to receive its new accredited U.S. Airport Professionals designation.
Launched in 2020, the U.S. Airport Professional (USAP) Program is an accredited e-learning training curriculum to equip students with the leadership and strategic management skills necessary for personal and professional advancement in the U.S. airport industry.
Developed in collaboration with U.S. airport industry and professional development experts, the program consists of seven online courses and a writing assignment, covering leadership development, business strategy, commercial management, finance, operations, safety, security, air service and more.
The inaugural group of USAPs are: Josh Ainley, a recent graduate of Loughborough University; Anthony Caruso, Bangor International Airport (BGR); David Decoteau of King County International Airport (BFI); Lisa Deyo, of the Airport Consultants Council; Sheneice Hughes from Dallas Love Field (DAL); Meagan Hulett of Clinton National Airport (LIT); Jayanth Jayavardhanan from Sun Country Airlines; Pragun Pande, a recent graduate of Loughborough University; Sylvia Palmer, of Airport Consultants Council; Isabella Rhawie from the Metropolitan Airports Commissionl; and Matthew Sykora, also from King County International.
