The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority (MKAA), operator of McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) and Downtown Island Airport (DKX), has named Susan Gennoe as its new vice president of finance.
In her new role, Gennoe will be responsible for managing and directing the financial, accounting, risk management, internal audit, payroll, parking, ground transportation and properties management functions.
Gennoe brings a diverse background of expertise in local government, public accounting and private industry, most recently serving as the chief financial officer for the City of Knoxville where she served as a member of the mayor’s cabinet and oversaw the managerial, administrative and financial responsibilities of the city’s finance department
“I have spent two decades serving the Knoxville area through various local government finance functions of increasing responsibility, most recently as the CFO for the City of Knoxville,” said Gennoe in a press release announcing her new role. “I look forward to this new chapter of serving our community in a different way through the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority.”
