Lynx Air Plans January International Launch

Lynx Air, the ultra-low-cost Canadian start-up carrier, will begin international service in January with flights between its home base of Calgary International Airport (YYC) and Orlando International (MCO), Los Angeles International (LAX) and Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX) airports.

Beginning early next year, flights will operate on the airline’s brand-new Boeing 737 which seats up to 189 passengers and features Boeing Sky Interior lighting, large overhead bins and extra legroom seats.

Lynx Air debuted last spring with flights from YYC to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and has since rapidly added destinations across Canada. It currently operates 148 domestic flights per week.
