The Triangle Takeoff Coalition, an alliance of high-profile companies and universities in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina, has launched a campaign to support the return to air travel at Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU).
The new campaign, “Make Your Connection,” builds on the success of the 2021 “Carry On” campaign by encouraging residents and businesses to return to the skies and connect with the people and places that matter most.
The “Make Your Connection” ads feature Duke University men’s basketball coach Jon Scheyer, acclaimed local chef Katsuji Tanabe, Durham Bulls mascot Wool E. Bull and more.
“The Triangle Takeoff Coalition is proud to welcome new and returning businesses and universities who are invested in RDU’s success,” said Michael Landguth, president and CEO of the Raleigh-Durham Airport Authority, operator of RDU “With their support, the ‘Make Your Connection’ campaign will stoke excitement about visiting family and friends, taking vacations and doing business around the world.”
