Ontario International Airport (ONT) has partnered with Discover Inland Empire on an in-terminal center to alert travelers to the attractions and amenities of the region, including resorts, natural beauty, historic landmarks and seasonal events.
The new Discover IE Center will feature information on popular destinations in the two-county region. The partnership comes through ONT’s new in-house advertising and partnership program, which has seen revenues double to $1.7 million over an 18-month period since it brought on outside agency Fuse Advancement to deliver on the new ad and sponsorship sales models.
“The Inland Empire has emerged as a global economic hub, and we see a tremendous opportunity to help introduce a growing number of international visitors to the wonderful assets our region has to offer,” said Atif Elkadi, CEO of the Ontario International Airport Authority, which runs ONT. “This partnership is a step in that direction.”
