Hudson announced on Monday that longtime industry veteran Bobby Watson has passed away.
Watson, Hudson’s senior vice president, public affairs and strategic planning, had been with Hudson for more than two decades. He was “a visionary leader who helped transform governmental affairs within the travel retail industry, and advance Hudson‘s philanthropic giving initiatives,” the company said. “His great intellect, deep integrity, and charisma made him beloved by the Hudson team and universally admired and respected by public officials, community leaders, and colleagues in the industry.”
Funeral services will be held at Congregation Beth El of Montgomery County in Bethesda, Maryland at 1:00 p.m. ET on Tuesday, February 7, followed by burial at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park in Clarksburg, Maryland. A live stream of the funeral services will be provided by Congregation Beth El.
