Summer House Opens At MCO

Delaware North and joint-venture partners Superior Hospitality and Sweet Mango Hospitality have opened Summer House Santa Monica in the all-new Terminal C at Orlando International Airport (MCO). The opening is the final piece of the company’s six-outlet foodservice program.

Summer House Santa Monica, at 7,027 square feet and spanning two floors, offers multiple dining options and service styles, including full-service dining; a bar; grab-and-go options for breakfast, lunch and dinner; and a market that will dish out the restaurant’s signature cookies, pastries and more. The California-inspired restaurant – a brand developed and licensed by Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises – features a fresh, seasonal menu paired with breezy, beach house vibes. The menu offers travelers a wide variety of cuisine, including burgers, tacos, salads and more. The restaurant also offers a full market on the first floor with freshly baked cookies and pastries, a coffee bar featuring La Colombe Coffee Roasters and an extensive wine and cocktail list.

The five other F&B outlets operated by Delaware North and partners opened in September 2022.

“The vision for Terminal C has always been to provide a variety of options to passengers,” said Kevin Thibault, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “We’re pleased that Summer House has opened at Terminal C to provide dining options that cater to our traveling customer that will enhance their experience.”

Kevin Reynolds, executive partner, Lettuce Fly, added “Lettuce has had a working relationship with the Delaware North team for many years and through this partnership, we are excited to bring Summer House to Orlando for the first time. This is our first airport project with Delaware North, and we are grateful to them and the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority for giving us the opportunity to bring this restaurant to life.”
