Armstrong Named MEM Senior Business Development Manager

The Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA), operator of Memphis International Airport (MEM), has named Regina Armstrong as its new senior manager of business development. Armstrong will be responsible for planning, directing, organizing and coordinating the administration of the airport’s economic inclusion programs.

The Business Diversity Development (BDD) Program includes Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), Small Business Participation (SBP), Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) and in-house certification programs.

Armstrong has more than 22 years of experience at MSCAA, most recently serving as MEM airport concessions/DBE program administrator. Armstrong succeeds Joe Claiborne, who is retiring after more than 16 years with MSCAA. She will report to Michael Fulton, director of government affairs and BDD.

“Regina is a welcome addition to our executive team,” said Terry Blue, MSCAA President. “For more than 22 years, she has demonstrated her skills and expertise in coordinating many of our business diversity programs. We look forward to her leading our BDD initiatives, which are essential to fueling local economic growth.”
