Travelers passing through San Francisco International Airport (SFO) now have the option to try Daybreak Vietnamese Coffee at the airport’s grab-and-go market, Pronto.
The locally-focused retailer, operated by Elevate Gourmet Brands, has added Daybreak to its lineup of neighborhood favorites in both of its Terminal 3 locations, with another Pronto outpost set to open this summer in Terminal 1.
Launched in 2022 by Michelle Tu and Stanislav Kroll, Daybreak Vietnamese Coffee hopes to introduce the popular beverage — which gains its signature sweet flavor from the addition of condensed milk — to SFO locals and visitors alike.
“Many coffees are moving toward ‘third-wave’ trends, emphasizing lighter roasts and single-origin beans, and we actually wanted to go traditional, with flavors that brought you back to Vietnam,” says Tu of Daybreak’s commitment to reproducing an authentic Vietnamese coffee experience for travelers. “We take for granted that we have so much variety in the Bay Area,” adds Kroll. “We want to offer that experience to people around the country!”
