HMSHost and Hudson Awarded 15-year Contract at SNA

Avolta brands HMSHost and Hudson will bring dozens of new concessions and retail concepts to John Wayne Airport (SNA) in a newly-awarded 15-year contract with the facility.

HMSHost — which will open new concessions across Terminals A, B and C in collaboration with

ACDBE partners S&C Robinson Enterprise LLC, Albright International Inc. and Kind Hospitality Inc. — will bring airport outposts of several Orange County-based brands, including Mama’s Comfort Food & Cocktails, Wahoo’s Fish Taco, Sgt. Pepperoni’s Pizza Store, Tacos La Piña, Five Vines Wine Bar, Chaupain Bakery and Left Coast Brewing. National quick-service concessions will include Dunkin’, Panera Bread, Starbucks, Auntie Anne’s, Bonchon, The Habit Burger Grill and Earl of Sandwich. HMSHost will also offer passengers everything from smoothies, coffee, salads, dumplings, donuts and made-to-order pizza through several 24/7 vending machines.

“John Wayne Airport is thrilled to partner with HMSHost in bringing exciting new dining options to the terminal, reflecting the rich culinary diversity of Orange County,” said SNA’s airport director Charlene Reynolds. “These improvements underscore our commitment to providing guests with a unique and memorable dining experience showcasing local favorites and beloved national brands.”

Hudson — operating in collaboration with ACDBE partners Martinez-Niebla LLC and Alright International Inc. — will open five new retail stores across Terminals A and B, including Orange County-focused grab-and-go retail shop PCH Provisions by Hudson, local gift store Orange Coast by Hudson, artisanal goods and speciality market Boutique del Mar by Hudson, electronics store Brookstone and a combination M·A·C Cosmetics / Jo Malone / Sunglass Hut on-the-go store.

“Orange County is a unique region, deserving of retail offerings that reflect its environment, culture and diversity to deliver a strong sense of place,” said Steve Johnson, president and CEO of Avolta North America. “Combined with shops featuring esteemed, recognizable brands, our retail program will bring variety and excitement to the terminal. We are proud of our continued partnership with John Wayne Airport and the County of Orange, and are thrilled by their support of our vision to create the future of retail at the airport.”
