Video game lounge company Gameway has opened a new location at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Located in Terminal E, the Gameway Ultra lounge features both of-the-moment and retro gaming platforms as well as a menu of snacks and beverages for passengers to enjoy during their stay. In addition to DFW, the fast-growing airport entertainment brand currently has lounge locations at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) and Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), with several lounges set to open at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Chicago Midway International Airport (MDW) and other yet-to-be-announced locations later this year.
“Technology never stands still, it is constantly changing, and so are we. As innovations emerge, we upgrade our gear to provide the most immersive experience,” said Emma Walbridge, co-founder of Gameway. “Our cutting-edge and ever-changing environment aims to entertain passengers of all generations. Our modern, tech-forward design attracts the avid gamer, our retro zone brings a piece of nostalgia attracting the casual gamer, and our convenience appeals to all. We are thrilled to open our Gameway Ultra store in DFW. Our aim is to enhance the traveler’s experience by offering a fun and entertaining alternative at the airport. As an ACDBE and woman-owned business, I am also extremely grateful to DFW for giving us the opportunity to bring the Gameway experience to Terminal E.”
