JFKIAT, the operator of Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), and Capital One Travel have partnered to bring a new Capital One Lounge to JFK. The 13,000-square-foot lounge will be located in T4’s retail hall and will serve as a tribute to New York City’s charm and provide guests with an elevated travel experience that gives travelers a taste of the city.
Plans for the new lounge include culinary experiences that “pay homage to NYC classics” such as coffee and bagels from an in-lounge bodega and a cheesemonger who will offer local cheeses and other foods from artisans in the nearby Hudson Valley and New York region, JFKIAT said. Those experiences will complement a comprehensive food and beverage program with a local focus. The lounge design will seek to capture the essence of New York.
The new lounge will also bring some of the amenities that customers have come to expect from Capital One Lounges, including a full-service coffee bar, a grab-and-go food selection, delicious, locally-sourced in-lounge menu options served as small plates, fully stocked shower suites, power outlets at every seat, high-speed Wifi, and more.
