Vancouver International Airport (YVR) commemorated last week’s National Donut Day with plans to open an airport location of a beloved local brand, Lee’s Donuts.
“We’re celebrating National Donut Day with big news,” the airport posted on its official Twitter (X) account. “Lee’s Donuts is opening at YVR! Showcasing their irresistible creations, including the ever famous Honey Dip, we’re so excited for this beloved local B.C. favourite to arrive at the airport later this summer.”
Open since 1979 and known for their freshly fried pastries, Lee’s Donuts has expanded from its original Granville Island public market location to include multiple outposts around the city.
