The Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) has named Mark Berg its new chief commercial officer. Berg previously served as the managing director of corporate real estate for Hawaiian Airlines, where he was responsible for airport and non-airport property management, leasing, design, construction and facility maintenance across Hawaiian Airlines’ global network, as well as the management of multi-year capital programs. Prior to his role at Hawaiian Airlines, Berg served as the senior attorney and director of airport affairs at Alaska Airlines.
“This national search for a key leadership position was conducted with diligence and careful evaluation to find the right fit for our organization and I am confident that we have found an exceptional leader in Mark,” said Daren Griffin, RTAA president and CEO. “His expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we continue to move forward with the MoreRNO Infrastructure Program.”
“I chose to join the RTAA because of its world-class leadership and a culture dedicated to taking care of its people, business partners and customers,” added Berg. “I look forward to leveraging my experience to continue the momentum the RTAA team has already created.”
