LIT Appoints Steven C. Baker As New Executive Director

Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport (LIT) has appointed Steven C. Baker as its new executive director beginning August 6.

Baker, a 40-year industry veteran, began his career at United Airlines and previously worked in a variety of leadership positions at American Airlines, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), the Miami-Dade Aviation Department (MDAD) and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA). Baker’s appointment follows the death of LIT’s former executive director, Bryan Malinowski, in an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms (ATF) raid in March

“I am excited to serve as the next executive director of Clinton National Airport, and I appreciate the commission’s confidence in me,” said Baker. “I look forward to working collaboratively with the commission, the airport team, and the Little Rock community to advance the airport’s role as a leading transportation hub and a key economic engine for the state of Arkansas.”

“We are delighted to have Steve join us as the new executive director of Clinton National Airport,” added Bill Walker, chairman of the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission. “His exceptional experience and leadership will be essential as we work with staff to expand the airport and build on the successes of our previous executive director.”
