The Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) will host a networking event next month for businesses looking to explore teaming, partnership, and contract opportunities for the airport’s planned Dream of Flight Concessions Redevelopment.
The networking event will on March 9 will come in advance of the upcoming request for proposal (RFP) for the redevelopment of Sunport concessions program. The RFPs for food & beverage are expected later in March, while retail RFPs are slated for mid-July.
The Dream of Flight renovation project includes a complete concessions overhaul. ABQ is looking to educate interested local businesses on the challenges and opportunities of operating in a terminal environment, as well as how to become certified in the Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) program.
