Ben DeCosta, aviation general manager at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International (ATL), has been appointed to a three-year term on Airports Council International’s World Governing Board.
“I am honored to be part of the ACI’s World Governing Board, which is comprised of Airport leaders and aviation professionals,” DeCosta says. “As general manager of the world’s busiest and most efficient airport, I look forward to promoting the organization’s policies and services, which strengthen commercial airports’ ability to provide excellent customer service to their passengers and communities.”
The appointment became effective at the annual conference of Airports Council International-North America, the group that appointed DeCosta to the ACI World board, earlier this month. He had previously served a term on the World Governing Board and had been acting as a regional adviser to it. He has also been a member of the ACI-NA board of directors.
