Adult Beverage Leadership Position with HMSHost
HMSHost is seeking an experienced beverage professional with strong credentials to lead the $400M+ adult beverage business for our restaurant development/operations. Reporting to the EVP Restaurant Development, the Senior Director Adult Beverage will be responsible for driving beverage performance for the company’s large portfolio of national, local and chef-driven restaurant brands as well as managing bar development and operating standards for HMSHost’s many innovative proprietary restaurants. This is a unique opportunity for a beverage industry expert looking for a dynamic environment where he or she can be a creative force and high-impact leader. The position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland.
Required Credentials:
•Bachelor’s degree
•10 + years of experience in restaurant/bar development, beverage program development and/or restaurant/bar operations, with a minimum of 5 years at the strategic/leadership level
•Experience dealing with national supplier representatives
•Experience with public speaking and presentations
•Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
Preferred Credentials:
•Bar-related certifications: mixology, sommelier, cicerone, and related credentials
