Air Margaritaville has made its U.S. airport debut at Miami International (MIA).
Operated by IMCMV MIA Airport LLC, the restaurant is inspired by Jimmy Buffett’s song and the lifestyle it represents. It will offer breakfast items, seafood, salads, sandwiches and an extensive beverage menu of tropical drinks and beers. Signature menu items include the Cheeseburger in Paradise and Volcano Nachos.
“Air Margaritaville now provides an iconic South Florida restaurant brand directly in the center of MIA and adjacent to our MIA Hotel lobby that passengers from throughout the airport can enjoy,” says Emilio T. Gonzalez, Miami-Dade aviation director. “Congratulations to IMCMV on a successful grand opening, and we look forward to also welcoming their Brazilian buffet-style restaurant Viena, another first in the U.S., to MIA later this year.”
The 4,000-square-foot space is in the pre-security area of the Central Terminal. There are about 120 seats and 13 TVs in the restaurant, and Jimmy Buffett-style music will play throughout. It will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
