Airmall Participating In Random Acts Of Kindness Week

Employees of Airmall USA at all four of its airport locations will be spending this week offering travelers unexpected surprises aimed at brightening their days.

The company is taking part in International Random Acts of Kindness Week, which is hosted by the international non-profit Random Acts of Kindness Foundation, an organization that, according to its website, is founded upon the “powerful belief in kindness and dedicated to providing resources and tools that encourage acts of kindness.”

Throughout the week, Airmall and its tenants will try to make travelers’ time easier at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall (BWI), Pittsburgh International (PIT), Cleveland-Hopkins International (CLE) and Boston Logan International (BOS).

“Sometimes traveling can be stressful, and it has always been Airmall’s mission to help enhance and improve a traveler’s experience by making their time at the airport more enjoyable,” says Jay Kruisselbrink, senior vice president of Airmall. “That’s why we’re excited to participate in Random Acts of Kindness Week in an effort to do something special for travelers to help brighten their day. In turn, we hope that they will help to further spread kindness by doing something nice for someone else.”

RAK Week is an annual seven-day celebration of kindness aimed at making such acts the norm. The foundation’s website offers ideas for what some acts may be. A news release indicates that Airmall’s restaurant and retail tenants will surprise passengers with special treats and tips, and the company asks travelers to follow @airmallusa on Twitter, using the hashtag #airportkindness to share acts of kindness performed while traveling.
