Airport Experience® News, a division of Clarion UX, has promoted Melissa Montes to Portfolio Director and Carol Ward to Editor-in-Chief, effective immediately. Ramon Lo remains Publisher of Airport Experience® News.
In her new role Montes oversees strategic partnerships across the Airport Experience® portfolio, including print, digital and annual events, and is responsible for leading future initiatives to expand the offerings within the division.
Montes joined the company as business development manager in 2013. “In a relatively short period of time Mel has risen to be a key cog in our business possessing tremendous standing within the industry,” says Lo. “Through her hard work in elevating our brand, this is a natural transition for Mel to lead and oversee AXN’s business efforts.”
In addition, Carol Ward has been promoted to Editor-in-Chief of Airport Experience® News, responsible for all print and digital products within the portfolio, and for educational content within the annual Airport Experience® Conference. Ward has been with the company since its launch in 2001.
