Plano, Texas-headquartered Airport Lounge Development (ALD) this week opens its latest premium shared-use lounge, The Club CHS, on the second level of the main concourse at Charleston International Airport (CHS).
The first phase of new lounge provides 3,060 square feet and 52 seats, with plans to expand to a total of 4,041 square feet and 83 seats in the coming months. The Club CHS features floor to ceiling windows, award-winning photography on the walls, and a menu with dishes developed by Charleston Chef Consultant, Chef Bob Waggoner.
The lounge includes a productivity and privacy zone for business travelers, a relax zone with ultra-comfortable chairs and ample electrical outlets, a resting zone where guests can take a nap or read on comfortable recliners with ottomans, and a replenish zone, featuring Chef Waggoner’s signature dishes, snack items and beverages
“The Club CHS shows our commitment in providing our passengers with first-class amenities that will enhance their travel experience at Charleston International Airport,” says Paul Campbell, Jr., executive director and CEO for the Charleston County Aviation Authority, which oversees the airport. “Thanks to our excellent partnership with ALD, we can now offer our passengers a premium service and space to utilize before their flight.”
