Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, March 5, 2007…Airport Revenue News (ARN) announced the 2007 winners of its prestigious annual Best Concessions Awards at its annual Airport Revenue Conference & Exhibition, held this year in Orlando, FL. The awards ceremony recognizing excellence in the airport concessions industry was held at the Hard Rock Live Coliseum at Universal City Walk. The awards and ceremony were the culmination of three successful days of exhibiting, networking and learning at ARN’s Airport Revenue Conference & Exhibition.
For the twelfth year in a row the results, to be published in the March 2007 issue of ARN as well as posted to the ARN website, reflect the industry’s choice for the best concessions programs and the best concessionaires of the year in U.S. airports.
“Receiving an ARN award is difficult because every year the competition between airport programs and companies doing business in airports becomes ever more intense,” says Pauline Armbrust, president & CEO for Armbrust Aviation Group, which publishes Airport Revenue News. “The airports and companies recognized as the best in this competition are doing outstanding work and raising the standards of excellence in this dynamic industry.”
As always, this year’s judges were chosen for their broad-based expertise and knowledge about concessions. The judges are separated into two groups: Concessionaire judges vote for nominees in airport program categories; airport judges vote for stores and restaurant nominees in concessionaire categories. The nominees were selected by readers in an earlier process because of their noticeably high standards of excellence in a variety of categories.
Below are the 2007 winners of ARN’s Best Concessions Awards.
