Pacer Health Corp., which owns and operates acute care hospitals, medical treatment centers and psychiatric care facilities, has signed a management contract with AirportMD to operate its under-construction location at Miami International (MIA) and all of the airport-based health care provider’s future locations.
Each AirportMD location will have a physician, physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner on site and the stores will provide basic health care services, such as immunizations, physicals and blood screenings. It also will provide prescriptions to both passengers and employees and free health information regarding travel-related issues at its website: www.airportmd.com.
AirportMD officials believe the presence of a quality medical partner will help the company achieve its goal of rapidly expanding throughout the airport industry.
