Several staffing changes were announced this week within the Allegheny County Airport Authority, which operates Pittsburgh International (PIT) and Allegheny County (AGC), in a further shakeup of the airport’s executive team.
Paul Hoback was named vice president of operations and facilities, a promotion from director of maintenance. Dave Shaw, former director of general aviation at Allegheny County (AGC), is now assistant vice president of maintenance at that airport. Stephanie Saracco, who had been chief operating officer of the authority, has returned to AGC in the new role of superintendant.
The moves were made by James Gill, executive vice president and CFO of the Allegheny County Airport Authority, with notification given to the board. Gill is acting as executive director of the authority as the board takes steps to find a permanent replacement.
The changes come about six weeks after the board announced in mid-March that Bradley D. Penrod, most recently president and chief strategy officer, was no longer employed by the authority.
“These changes were made to align the Allegheny County Airport Authority team with the appropriate personnel to help us achieve our goals of not only providing the safest and most efficient airport but also to further develop customer service and facility improvements that our customers and stakeholders expect,” says JoAnn Jenny, spokeswoman.
