AMAC Extends President Application Deadline

The Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC)’s Board of Directors has extended the deadline for applying to become its new president and CEO to November 15, as it looks provide more time for qualified candidates to step forward for the opportunity to drive a new era of AMAC growth and become a new voice for women and minorities working at U.S. airports.

The previous deadline had been November 9. Executives with diverse experience in association leadership, federal and local advocacy, finance, strategic planning, fundraising, and program planning and development efforts will be inspired by the opportunity to take AMAC to the next level of success.

The president and CEO position requires an experienced executive familiar with the aviation industry and its associated business diversity programs to be able to plan, organize, implement and direct activities of the association around these initiatives.

AMAC is the only national, non-profit trade association dedicated to advancing the full participation of minorities and women in employment and contracting opportunities throughout the aviation and aerospace industries.
