AMAC Postpones June Diversity Conference

Amid ongoing concerns about the state of the travel industry due to COVID-19, the 36th Annual Airport Business Diversity Conference, originally scheduled for June 23-26 in Atlanta, will be postponed to a new date in 2021, according to a statement released by the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC).

“AMAC is closely monitoring the impacts of COVID-19 on our beloved organization, and we are taking the necessary steps to ensure AMAC remains a valuable resource for our membership throughout this crisis,” the organization says in a statement.

Registrations for the conference and golf tournament will be canceled automatically with credits being applied to user accounts that can be used toward future AMAC events. Exhibitors and sponsors will transfer to the new date. Anyone who had reserved rooms in the AMAC hotel block at the Hilton Atlanta will have their reservations canceled with no further actions necessary, according to the statement.
